International development

Soltena brings together businesses, partners and regional stakeholders to foster international collaboration, support export development and promote ecological transition solutions beyond Nouvelle-Aquitaine.

Regional support

In response to requests from its members, Soltena provides its members with collective assistance with their road to internationalisation, in line with regional mechanisms to support the Competitivity Hubs and Clusters. The Région Nouvelle-Aquitaine has supported Soltena since 2024 in its role as head of a SIRENA project (International Regional Strategy for Ecosystems in Nouvelle-Aquitaine).

Since the start of the Soltena-led initiative:

  • 4 collective operations have been conducted (IFAT 2024, Mubil Mobility Expo 2024, Smart City Expo 2024, Ecomondo 2025)
  • 3 member companies have had entry-level projects approved within the regional 360 Export scheme, which offers a range of funded solutions and regional grants dedicated to international development
  • 2 inter-cluster operations have been organised to encourage networking with other companies engaged in the ecological transition and the internationalisation of their services, based on the strong belief in the value of collective working and collaboration.

The Soltena Export Club

The Soltena-led project resulted in the creation of an Export Club in 2025. Within this Club, each sector can discuss and share their international projects and benefit from the services available.The Soltena Export Club is a cooperative network to help you expand your eco-responsible projects to the international market, hand-in-hand with your peers and supported by export specialists.

4-5 annual get-togethers around a theme and in line with a roadmap based on members’ priorities!
A format which alternates between in-person for collaborative working and online for interventions from export experts.

3 missions chosen by the members:

  • Encourage the circulation of information in a collaborative way
  • Create links within the Export Club and together with the outside world
  • Receive support with export projects

Key dates in 2026 included:

  • Collective Soltena mission at IFAT, Munich, 4-7 May
  • 1st Export Club: 23 January, Limoges, Le Phare
  • German Expert meeting, video conference, March
  • 2nd Export Club: 13 March, Limoges, Le Phare

European projects

We are part of the European SCAIRA project, coordinated by Aerospace Valley, as a beneficiary partner responsible for the circular part of the value chain. The main aim of the SCAIRA project, which is jointly funded by the regional development programme Interreg SUDOE 2021-2027 to a tune of 1,865,807.42 euros, is to help entrepreneurs create and accelerate start-ups in rural areas within the aerospace and automobile sector.
